A template (from German "schablone" and French "echantillon" - a sample) is a standard form, document structure, graphic layout, or pre-designed module used as a basis for creating a new product. Templates are used when the desired products serve the same purposes, contain a specific set of elements, menu items, and differ only in minor modifications.
It is these modifications that distinguish the final product from many others and determine its appearance.
