The development process is always different, but most often it consists of the following stages:
1. Definition of tasks, deadlines, prepayment (usually 50% of the agreed amount).
Before starting to create a site, it is necessary to determine the tasks and intended functionality of the future site. Based on the functions, the structure, type of the future site, the time required for development are determined (usually the period is indicated with a margin of 5-7 days, just in case) and the final cost of development (the cost does not change if the initially defined functionality remains unchanged until the launch of the site). By separate agreement, it is possible to add / change the functionality "on the go".
The main types of websites:
- business card site
- corporate website
- e-shop (online store, online market)
- content project
- social network (variations with users' blogs, etc.)
- promotional site
- information portal (news or information site)
It can also be a combination of the types above.
Specifies a set of features that the customer would like to have on their website. The direction in design in which the site would be made. If there is no ready-made design (brand book, logo, corporate colors), we provide 3 draft design options based on the wishes of the customer (colors, arrangement of navigation elements, design elements, such as slideshows of content, news, products, promotions, services. Alternatively, the customer sends 2-3 addresses of sites that they like, and when creating, we focus on the elements of these sites that like, but avoid plagiarism.
2. Design development for the project (if there is a unique design solution).
At this stage, a working design template is created that takes into account the corporate identity, company logo and the wishes of the customer. All design options are agreed with the client and, based on the wishes, change/additions are made.
3. Website development on a test server.
Almost all development takes place on our test servers. This allows you to track the process of creating a site and be always aware of the stage of development, make corrections and comments, and fully, in real time, get an idea of how the site you ordered will look like after launch "in the world". With this approach, the site turns out to be fully operational for launch, configured and ready to work and receive visitors.
3. Hosting and Domain Order.
After the development of the site is completed, it is necessary to order domain name registration and hosting (if this has not been done before). We do not provide hosting services, but we can advise you on the best tariff packages and hosters and help you place the necessary orders. The advantage of this approach is that your domain name and hosting account are initially registered to you, and in the future you will be able to dispose of the name and hosting as you please, without informing anyone and without wasting additional time on domain re-registration.
4. Setting up hosting and transferring the site and CMS (content management systems).
At this stage, hosting is set up, a database for the future site is created, mailboxes are created (if necessary and provided for by your chosen tariff plan). Uploading and installing the site (completely ready and working site is transferred from the test server to the working hosting). Usually the transfer takes about 2-3 hours (hosting is set up, the domain name has "spread", there are no errors from the hosting side). But there are also unforeseen cases when the transfer can take up to 72 hours (a server crash at the hoster, incorrect server settings that can be corrected only with the help of the hoster's technical support, waiting for the "propagation" of the domain (usually takes a couple of hours, but the maximum declared registrars time - 72 hours).
5. Website prelaunch.
Once again, everything is checked and configured for a working domain/hosting. The functionality is rechecked: the performance of forms, statistics, file manager, built-in editors, automatic mail sending, etc. SEF functionality is launched (SEF - Search Engine Friendly). A sitemap is created and published. At this stage, the site is already "on the Internet", but is temporarily closed (usually up to 2 hours).
6. Website launch.
After everything is checked and configured, and the remaining amount of the fee is paid, the site opens.
7. Registration in Search Engines + sending sitemaps.
If the development contract provides for registration in search engines, then at this stage registration in search engines takes place and "Site maps" are sent to search engines in order to inform search engines about all the pages of your new site and speed up indexing.
